Received fresh round wood is processed in wood splitting area, RaWood uses Finnish Japa® round wood processors. Round wood processors are adjusted to each order, depending on the client needs (log length and diameter). Each wood processor is managed by one operator, which has received necessary training. Split logs are placed in metal wire mesh crates.
Metal cartes which are filled with fresh firewood are taken to one of our kilns.
Once the required moisture level in the firewood is reached it is taken out and passed to packaging line. Firewood is packed in the required packaging type and size, net bags, plastic bags and crates. Crates and pallets that we use are kiln dried and are also produced by us.
